Instead of writing about weekly news, he focuses more on current trends. For example, at the time of writing (November 2020), Fintech trends include Banking as a Service and Buy Now Pay Later - so he’ll write a newsletter diving deep into those topics. He also sometimes interviews interesting guests which integrate well with the topic of the week.

He also used to work at Barclays, which means he understands the incumbent world of banking better than most.

His newsletter is more focused on the latest news, but with his own insights and analysis added on. He also covers cryptocurrencies, blockchain and a few other technical topics. He also adds new cool fintech companies that have recently launched or come across his radar, which is always fun to learn about.

    4. Sifted

Sifted is a publication for regular weekly news. They originally published only fintech news, but they now cover both tech and fintech. Sifted focuses specifically on tech in Europe, which makes it incredibly interesting and relevant for those who work in Europe.

We always end up bookmarking several of their articles in their weekly newsletter, and have found some genuinely new insights and perspectives from their writers.

Those are the four newsletters we are subscribed to. Here is a list of all the other fintech newsletters you’ll find:
